Q. How long does your set(s) last?
A. The Sopranos play for two two hours. If necessary, the set can be split to allow for the serving of tea/coffee/refreshments.

Q. How much space does the band need?
A. The Sopranos has three members in the rhythm section at the back (drums, bass and lead guitar) and two up front (vocals, keyboards and sax). This means that we can usually fit into tight spaces, but for the band to be at their most comfortable, the perfect size of the area would be approx. 3Mtrs x 5Mtrs.

Q. Do you have all of your own equipment?
A. The Sopranos are the proud owners of their own state-of-the-art sound system. The band has also recently invested in a new lighting rig which adds ads volumes to their show.

Q. What is the booking procedure?

Q. How long does it take The Sopranos to set up the equipment?
A. Between 45 mins and 1 Hour.

Q. What songs do you play?
A. We have provided you with a Set List page on this site with a wide range of songs for you to see exactly what we do. There are over 80 songs in this list, and we are constantly learning new material. The setlist is designed to cater for all occasions from weddings and functions to pubs and clubs. PLEASE NOTE: New songs for first dances can be requested, but please (for your own benefit) make sure that we are given enough time to perfect the songs and bear in mind that our singer Padraic is male and not female!)

Q. What stage outfits do The Sopranos wear?
A. The band wear all black. (Black shirts, black trousers, black ties complimented by white trainer shoes).

Q. What style of music do the band play?
A. The band's extensive repertoire can be seen on the Set List page. Although The Sopranos have a regular setlist which is tried and tested, we sometimes vary it to suit the audience. We feel we are competent in every style of music from 60s, to Rock and Roll, Soul, Pop, right through to the popular Indie music of today. Ensuring the guests enjoy themselves is always our top priority, so The Sopranos will play whatever we think will lend towards making sure the evening is a success.

Q. Can I rely on The Sopranos to be on time?
A. Yes you can. The Sopranos dont do late! We take pride in the professional service we provide, which is evident from our testimonials.

Q. How loud are the band?
A. The Sopranos are extremely conscious of noise levels and can increase or decrease the decibel levels according to the venue, crowd and the client's requests. The choice is entirely yours, but the band generally knows the right level to play at.

Q. Do you allow singers from the crowd? A. If you have a family member who wishes to join The Sopranos onstage for a song, please let the band know in advance so that they may prepare whatever song is requested. Please be aware however that inviting people onstage can sometimes hinder the party atmosphere!!

THE JAZZ TREE... The Sopranos can offer a jazz trio if required for your pre-dinner reception.The act can play sets of classic and contemporary Jazz, Blues and Swing which will add a cool and classy atmosphere to your venue as your guests arrive. The Jazz Tree consists of piano, double bass and vocalist and can be booked in conjunction with The Sopranos or as a stand-alone act. Reduced rates are given if booked with the main band.
